[ She displays her bare forehead. ]

This is the absolute limit!! How am I supposed to be a unicorn without a horn? Can I even call myself a unicorn, anymore? Shall I forever and henceforth be known as Rarity the nonicorn? Is that even a word?

(She blinks and just watches, slightly amused by her friend's 'overdramatizing' since she hadn't seen it in quite a while.)

Hahaha, if it's one of mine and Pinkie's pranks it's been pulled on everypony from home 'cause we're all like that! It's me - Rainbow Dash! (See her multicolored locks? They should look familiar even if nothing else does.)

Anyway, we're humans now...yeah, we don't have our horns or wings and stuff but you'll be able to deal after being here a while. And you're in Johto! Is there any small little guys near you who says his own name?

Yeah, that little one! So you're a trainer too! That's great Rarity, but I don't think we'll be finding his mom anytime soon. I think he thinks you're mom now.

... Well, I suppose I could. [ She brings the Petilil up to rest on her shoulder. ] I'm supposed to train ... her? [ Seems like a her. ] For what?

Haha, to be the best! (Unless being a breeder's more your thing; now that Rainbow thinks about it, perhaps that's the best route -so to speak- for Rarity to go.) Or just so no one else can beat them senseless in battles. You should see how many of my Pokemon think I'm their mom!

(A beat.) ...How much do you know about Johto anyway?

Okay, this place has lots of Pokemon who pump themselves up to real high levels and we're...kinda brought here to be either trainers or breeders. And it's called Joh-to! There's another place you can go to, but it's not that easy to get there. You'll have to ride a train.

Heh, that's the thing Rarity - you're IN Johto! It's a whole region, kinda like Ponyville's just one part of Equestria. You're in New Bark Town, and we're in...Cianwood, which is kinda on the other side.

If you were closer, I'd totally give you a ride on her~! (Rainbow pulls out a Pokeball and tosses it, the screen soon showing a neighing SHINY Rapidash, complete with blue flaming mane and horn!)

There must be some way to train yourself to get back up to speed! How hard can running be in comparison to flying? [ She doesn't really have any idea. How hard can it be? ]

...Uh, yeah there is! It's called 'wake up in the morning and train!' That's mostly what I do with my Pokemon: train them, then myself. And it's pretty hard when you don't have your usual pony's speed and strength.

(Besides, she already tried racing Dash once. She had to grab onto her Pokemon's waist and pull herself onto her back after 20 seconds of running so her Pokemon wouldn't leave her in the dust!)
