[Spike can hear Rarity's pokemon in the background and chuckles]

That's its name...well, its species anyway.

[Spike laughs at Rarity’s mistake]

I think you’re getting Twilight and Rainbow Dash confused – must have been the cross-world travel.

But can you imagine Twilight with wings?!?

[More laughter from Spike as he imagines it]

That would be hilarious. Her name would be Twilight DEBACLE!

[Spike covers his mouth as he tries to contain his laughter.]

Yeah…her first pokemon…

[Now Spike is really confused and concerned about Rarity]

Rarity, are you feeling okay? Because, uh...Twilight's not a princess either.

You guys just came back from the Crystal Empire after helping Princess Cadence with the Equestria Games nomination, remember? You told me how amazing Princess Cadence's spa was...

[Spike frowns. He was pretty sure he hadn't been hurt in any way.]

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure Twilight would have mentioned something about being able to fly if I had.

Are you sure you haven't been dreaming Rarity?

[Spike is alarmed that Rarity actually hit herself!]

H..hey! Are you okay Rarity! I didn't mean to make it sound like I don't believe you...because I totally do! I just...um...don't remember that happening...

But hey, if you say it did, then I'm sure you're right!

[Smooth recovery Spike, really smooth].

We're in Cianwood right now. It's pretty far away from you, but Twilight will definitely come and get you so that we're all together!

[Startled, Spike quickly shakes a claw...er...hand...at the screen frantically]

Wait Rarity! You should stay where you are so Twilight can find you and you don't get lost! I mean, Cianwood is really far away. When Twilight picked me and Princess Cadence up, we were flying for hours. Plus there are all sorts of wild pokemon in the forests [Boy doesn't he know it] and you might get hurt! And that would be awful!

[Spike crosses his arms]

You wouldn't say that if you'd met Pinchy.

[Spike suddenly gets alarmed as Rarity is tackled.]

RARITY! Rarity are you okay?!? [He shakes the pokegear.]

Has it fainted? Don't get too close to it! It might be mad! Watch out for teeth coz they hurt!

[Spike the overprotective dragon calms down a little when he sees it's not moving. He sighs in relief.]

That was lucky! Bell is pretty strong...

Oh I know! If you point this at the one that attacked you, [he taps the gear] and hit the button that says pokedex, it will tell you what it is. Cool huh?

Isn't that some kind of bird? [Spike tries to peer through the screen but can't quite see it.]

You could catch it? The first wild pokemon I ran into exploded on me, and I sort of caught it by mistake coz it was really badly hurt and needed to be healed.

[A moment while Spike rummages around looking for a pokeball, and then finally holds one up]

You just sort of...throw this thing at it.

[Spike looks relieved as Rarity catches the Pidgey - better in the pokeball that out where it could hurt her!]

Nice work! But yeah...I have no idea. [He shrugs] The magic here is way different to back in Equestria.

I've only been here a couple weeks - Twilight and Applejack have been here for ages though.

[Spike waves a claw.]

Maybe this will give her a chance to prove herself, you know, show you that she can take care of things on her own?

[Spike mentally tunes into the music again and makes a face.]

Yeah, you learn to sort of...block it out? It's everywhere, even at night when you're trying to sleep, when you walk into the shops. Sometimes it changes, depending on where you are. It's really weird. No one seems to know where it even comes from.
