All right, whoever is listening. I have done absolutely everything in my power to make the best of a difficult situation, but even I have my limits. So I'd like a good old fashioned group brainstorm, if you please. The situation could not be more dire.
[ She turns the camera around to reveal... a fish. Sitting in a tank. Not a particularly big fish, but... sweet Celestia, if this isn't one of the ugliest damn things you've ever seen.
The tank itself is your basic bowl shape, but it's got all manner of plants and tiny dwellings inside. Sitting next to the tank are some sopping wet miniature clothes that look like at least some decent effort have been put into them. ]
This little darling is in desperate need of a makeover, and... well, I'm afraid I'm at a bit of a loss. Has anypony got any ideas for how to make him look absolutely ravishing? Or... well, at least suitably impressive! ... For a fish.

Oh, goodness! I must not have been paying enough attention. [ She finds a couple of fabric scraps nearby and dabs at it. ] Can you tell, Twilight, is it bad?

[She lifts Rarity's hair up with one hand and looks closely at the nick. After a moment, she sighs in relief.]
It's just a small cut. Keep that on it for a bit, okay? I'll get you a bandage.
[Action]
[ She's got the cloth Twilight gave her pressed firmly on her neck, but in a moment she flings it aside with resolution. ]
No, i will most certainly not let this project get the best of me. Hans is counting on me! [ And she continues cutting at the other side of her hair, the cloth lying forgotten on the floor and the blood trickling down her neck again. ]
[Action]
[There's the sound of rummaging from the bathroom down the hall for a moment before she comes back with a box of band-aids.]
This- Rarity, I appreciate your artistic integrity, but I really didn't take that long to get the supplies.
[Action]
[ She lowers the hair carefuly down into the tank, on top of (the currently stationary) Hans. ] Easy... easy... this must be perfect... there!
[ Hans now has a little blue moustache perched precariously on his face. ]
[Action]
Would a few minutes really have made that big a difference? Hold still, now...
[Biting her lip a little, she takes out one of the band-aids and carefully affixes it to the back of Rarity's neck. Once it's safely in place, she steps back to check and see that the whole injury is covered.]
Okay, I think that'll take care of it, just make sure that doesn't get removed for a few days, alright?

[Still, there has to be something she can have Rarity make for her. Preferably something simple, but that the fashionista can still put her own personal mark on. Something she can wear and tell people "my friend Rarity made this for me", and they can both be proud of the fact.]
